About Kannerlux
Pass It On
Pass It On is a peer-to-peer marketplace where families in Luxembourg can buy, sell, or give away pre-loved baby and children's items. From clothes and shoes to toys, baby gear, and nursery furniture, every listing gives quality items a second life. Sellers can choose to donate a portion of their earnings to verified Luxembourgish charities helping children in need, including Fondation Sarah Grond and Fondation Wonschstaer.
Trusted Services
The Services directory helps families in Luxembourg find or offer trusted local services that support everyday family life. This includes babysitters, childcare providers, tutors, cleaners, and other family-related professionals. All service providers are community-reviewed to help families make informed choices.
Donate
The Donate section allows community members to give items directly to verified charities supporting children and families across Luxembourg. A portion of every marketplace transaction on Kannerlux also goes directly to these organisations, so every sale supports a good cause. Kannerlux currently partners with Fondation Sarah Grond (fondationsarahgrond.lu), approved for both direct donations and share-of-sale donations, and Fondation Wonschstaer (wonschstaer.lu), approved for share-of-sale donations from marketplace listings.
Local Stores
Local Stores is a curated directory of family-relevant shops in Luxembourg, organised by category to help parents quickly find what they need close to home. From baby boutiques to toy shops and children's clothing retailers, the directory surfaces trusted local businesses in one place.
Forum
The Forum is a community discussion space where parents in Luxembourg can ask questions, share experiences, exchange advice, and support one another through the different stages of family life. It is a friendly, moderated environment open to all registered Kannerlux members.
Blog
The Blog offers practical articles and guidance to support family life in Luxembourg. Topics include childcare, education, local activities, financial benefits for families, and seasonal advice. Content is written and curated to be relevant to the Luxembourg context.

User Responsibilities
All users must:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when creating listings or profiles
- Comply with all applicable Luxembourg and EU laws
- Respect other users and maintain a safe, friendly environment
- Not post illegal, harmful, or misleading content
- Be solely responsible for their interactions, transactions, and agreements made through the platform
- Report suspicious activity or content that violates these terms
Pass it on Terms
Kannerlux is not a party to transactions: Pass it on is a platform for peer-to-peer transactions between individual users. Kannerlux does not buy, sell, or own any items listed. We are not responsible for:
- Quality, condition, safety, or legality of items listed
- The accuracy of listing descriptions or images
- Payment processing or delivery arrangements between buyers and sellers
- Disputes arising from transactions
Tax responsibilities: Sellers are solely responsible for complying with Luxembourg tax laws. If you sell regularly or generate significant income, you may need to register as a business and collect VAT. Kannerlux does not handle tax collection or reporting. Please consult a tax advisor if unsure.
Services Listings
Kannerlux allows users to post service offerings (e.g., babysitting, cleaning, tutoring). All service providers are independent contractors and not employees of Kannerlux.
Verification Tags
- Self-declared: Provider confirms they are legally entitled to offer this service. No additional verification has been completed by Kannerlux.
- Verified business: Business documents (VAT certificate or registration) have been reviewed and verified by the Kannerlux team.
- CSA-registered: Provider is registered under Luxembourg's CSA (Chèque-Service Accueil) childcare scheme, verified with government documentation.
Important: Verification tags indicate document review only. They do not guarantee service quality, reliability, or suitability. Users must conduct their own due diligence, check references, and make informed decisions when hiring service providers.
Forum Rules
Our forum is a space for respectful, supportive discussion. All posts are subject to moderation. We reserve the right to remove content that:
- Contains hate speech, harassment, or bullying
- Is spam, advertising, or promotional without authorization
- Violates privacy or shares personal information without consent
- Includes false, misleading, or harmful medical advice
- Infringes intellectual property rights
Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Limitation of Liability
Kannerlux provides this platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding its availability, accuracy, or suitability. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from transactions, services, or interactions between users
- We are not responsible for the conduct, actions, or negligence of any user or service provider
- We do not guarantee the security, reliability, or uninterrupted operation of the platform
- Users engage with the platform and other users entirely at their own risk
This limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted under Luxembourg and EU law.

Intellectual Property Rights
The Kannerlux platform, including its design, logo, and original content, is owned by Kannerlux and protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant Kannerlux a license to display, distribute, and promote that content on the platform.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without permission.
Modifications to Terms
Kannerlux reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
